Separate POS and Kiosk Menu

Hi, we would like a way to separate the menus on our POS and Kiosk.
We can change the menus from the POS to online ordering but not the Kiosk, which makes it harder to cater certain items to takeout customers.
Will this ever be a feature?

Thanks for reaching out to the community! To separate the menus on your POS and kiosk, you can adjust the visibility settings for each menu, menu group, or item. Here's how you can hide specific menus from your kiosk:

1. In Toast Web, navigate to Menus > Bulk management > Advanced properties.
2. Open the Show/Hide drop-down and ensure that Visible To is checked.
3. Use the caret (arrow) icons to expand your menus as needed to find the specific items you want to hide from your kiosk.
4. Open the Visible To drop-down for that menu/group/item and uncheck Kiosk to hide it.
5. Save and publish your changes.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Kiosk: Menu Setup

Hi, I understand that you can do this, but if POS is unselected, I can't select only Kiosk.

I wish for a way to only select Kiosk.

Oh I see, it looks like you cant. However, you could create a menu specifically for the Kiosk and then hide it from all other devices. Although this setup is a bit manual because you need to hide it at the device level, it’s the only workaround I can think of. The link below explains how to create hidden menus!

Will there be updates on this in the future? Right now I have to make sure all my instore POS menus, menus connected to my integrated app, and kiosk all have the correct timing on them. Making the Kiosk Visibility checkmark not tied to the POS one would solve so many issues.
