Takeout Charges

Does anyone know how to add a charge anytime someone orders food to go? I want to be able to add a 50 cent charge every time a customer orders a meal to go. It would be perfect if it would auto charge every time an employee applied the takeout item to a meal. Thanks for any help.

Yeah you would just create a service charge that applies to takeout only. https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/How-to-Create-a-Service-Charge I am not sure if this works when dining option is changed on a single item vs the dining option on the entire check. Seems like maybe you were looking to add a charge to a dine in check when they get something to go as well.
