Tipping in Catering and Events

How do you set the tip percentage options to be calculated based on the the total bill and not just the remaining balance? For example, let’s say I have a $400 catering order and the deposit is $200. When I go to collect the remaining balance after the $200 deposit is submitted the tip options of 25 20 and 15% come out to $50, $40 or $3.  This is being calculated on the remaining balance and not the total. I want the is to be calculated  based on the sum of the deposit and remaining balance.

You can add the grat as a service charge. However tip alfter the fact is always calculated on the payment transaction at the time. If four of us go for brunch and we all pay seperately is is not going to have us each tip 20% on th whole bill but on our portion that we paid for
