Toast Go 2 Handhelds

Hey all!

We are currently running 4 handhelds in addition to our 5 POS. We have a relatively large space, and our handhelds are constantly going offline, to the point that we cant use them. We have taken to assigning one handheld to each room and leaving it there, kind of defeating the purpose of the handheld device. We have multiple access points installed in each room, so I'm kind of at a loss. I've talked to customer support countless times to no avail. Any tips/recommendations?

How large of a space? I operate 20 handhelds out of a 24,000 sqft space, I only see offline mode happening when a server might step outside and have it in their apron. Is the right wifi connected? Is there another wifi in the building that might be saved on accident? Seems like an installation team issue, do you have a contact for your rep?

I have had this happen before. somehow we had 2 networks that we were connected to. I would forget all networks on each toast go, then reconnect them to the network you know they are supposed to be on. That way you can at least eliminate that as a problem. Also, are you sure that all of the access points are working properly? Ive also found that someone unplugged one of them before to charge their phone.
