Toast Tables - Multiple service periods for same day

New to Toast and just trying to figure out if there's a way to block off multiple periods in a given day? We run a sports bar and often have a need to block reservations for multiple games on the same day while leaving windows open for bookings. Tried creating multiple service periods but it appears only one service period can be active at any time. Toast Tables will not work for us if we can't find a fix. Thanks

Service periods is what you want, what is the issue you are having? Can you give an example of the windows you want to setup?

NFL Sundays for example... we want to be able to have multiple booking windows before or between games and block off times when games are taking place. So ideally we'd take reservations 12-1pm, 4:15-4:45pm and 7:30-8pm with the periods in between closed for online bookings. It would be great if we could just toggle on/off availability times. The current setup just seems so convoluted having to setup multiple service times, as it needs to be fluid since sometimes we get a late burst for a particular game and the way it's setup now the only option is to turn off the entire day.

Something like this should work, create a service period for each of those time blocks like this, and then on your main service period (the default one if you haven't modified it) turn Sunday off.

ok, that's not ideal but a work around. Is there a way to turn off sections or individual tables during certain times? For example we may open for breakfast @ 9am but we don't open outdoor dining until noon. Thanks for your help.
