Tips on future orders

Hello, I'm hoping someone here has run into this and has a fix. We are having a recurring issue with future-dated delivery orders. When a customer orders an order for a future date and leaves a tip, the tip is attached to the order takers shift review and we cannot transfer it to a future driver. (we wouldn't even know at that point which driver as we have multiple drivers on each day) I asked customer service, and they basically told me there is no real fix for this besides manually pulling the money the day the order is taken and handing it to the driver whatever day they order is scheduled for. Another issue with that is the employee who takes the order will have the tip on their shift review and we will be paying it out twice or she will be claiming a tip she doesn't actual receive. I feel like this should be a pretty simple fix. Support did say they would pass the suggestion along to engineering, but I'm surprised it hasn't already been addressed. I would think it would be a common issue with pizzerias and any other establishment that takes future delivery orders paid by credit card.

I have this issue. I made a dummy clock in for "future orders" transfer it to the dummy user and cash out the tip that day. I put the tip in an envelope and have it in the safe for the driver on the day of.
