Unpaid Orders Showing “Processing” After Offline Mode – What to Expect?

After today’s outage, I’m reviewing my unpaid orders and noticing that they all appear to be credit card transactions with a status of “Processing.” I understand these were likely captured during Offline Mode and are now syncing.

Can you clarify:

  1. How long should I expect these orders to remain in “Processing” status?
  2. What happens if they do not finish processing before the 4 a.m. auto-closeout?
  3. Is there any action I should take now, or will the system resolve this automatically?

We’re currently closed, and I’m monitoring remotely via Toast Web. I appreciate any insight you can provide to ensure these transactions are finalized properly.

Yes I am in the same boat again with you today
however, we have already auto captured. I have fortunately only $1400 worth of credit cards that are still trying to process payments. I still have a couple open shifts so if you get any direction I’m hoping I will too
