Using POS for managing orders in a volunteer event.

Our business is volunteering for a community event that is free and was wondering if you can still use the Toast Go POS to take orders so kitchen tickets print and orders are not messed up? Do I just have to duplicate the menu and change the price of the offered products to $0? Any guidance would be appreciated. (Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, fairly new user.)

Is this going to be on premise? If so does it involve the entire restaurant or will you also be open for regular business?

It will be much easier if you create a 100% off discount just for the event. In this way, you don't have to worry about having a different sets of menu, and preventing staffs ringing up items on your regular menus.
