Hey all, we are looking at creating a program for our team where each month we load an assigned gift card that is unique to an employee with a predetermined monthly allowance. The idea is that we want our team to also be our guests and experience dining. While we try to buy employee meals we would like to make it a more formal program.
We have a team of about 20, The thought is at the beginning of each month, we manually adjust each employees gift card balance back to the allowance amount.
I am concerned this could get tedious, especially if we continue to grow. Has anyone tried anything like this? Better solutions? Appreciate any ideas!

We have been using customer credit for this purpose. We also need to manually adjust the balance at the end/beginning of a month. Require all employees to have a loyalty gift card account ...Assign all your employees a specific block of card numbers that are consecutive so at the end of the month sort the gift cards by numbers which you can always lookup by name or phone number on pos and adjust all balances

I was definitely planning on initially doing a block of cards, however eventually that will have to lapse as employees come and go.
What is a loyalty gift card account? Would the employee just attach the card i assign to their loyalty account, or is there something else that they can create?
