My printer reports are not matching to what is being put in toast app. I am being ripped off a lot of money from the paperwork that I already have compared to what toast has I need all my printer reports
So far I’ve gone through six and I’m missing $600

Rob I believe this is not a support issue but an issue that needs to be addressed with their employer as it has to do with restaurant permissions and the OP's lack of visibility into management financial reports.
@Gg Toast is the software company that supports your restaurant. However, any operational issues must be addressed with your employer as Toast cannot provide you with reports that the business you work for doesn't allow you to see

I agree with Josh.
To the OP, If I read this correctly, you have been terminated by your employer. I wish you luck in figuring out if you are or are not missing money. Based on my experience, Toast can only really help you if you are currently working there and have the permissions to access the information you are looking for.
Since Toast is a software/tech company, there is really only so much they can do to help in a situation like this.
If you do in fact have evidence of wage theft, generally you would need to contact the Department of Labor for whatever state you are living in.

It's crucial to understand that every POS system, including Toast, operates with inherent privacy protections designed to safeguard client data. Toast is a technology provider, contracted by employers as a tool for their operations. It is not, nor should it be, a substitute for the Department of Labor or an investigative body. Forcing Toast to violate the trust of their customers by disclosing sensitive business financial and operational data would be a fundamental breach of their privacy commitments. This is akin to expecting a phone company to provide your call details to law enforcement without a proper legal warrant.
Toast makes these reports available, but it is the employer's prerogative to furnish them upon request, particularly from a legal entity.
I recognize this can be a frustrating situation, but you do have several avenues to pursue:
Contact your local Department of Labor or Consumer Protection agency.
Engage directly with your employer to share your concerns and request the relevant documentation.
Consult with a lawyer; if you have a strong case, they may take it on to help you seek damages.
Consider seeking new employment.
However, expecting Toast to compromise its commitment to customer privacy and data security is simply not a viable path

Hello, thank you for reaching out to the community! This question would be best addressed by contacting support to troubleshoot the discrepancies and work towards a solution. I apologize for the confusion with these reports; I can imagine this is quite frustrating. Do you have a case number with support that I can look into?

No I did not receive what I was asking for I needed a copy of a daily report for each day I worked. We did not have access to this information. Reason being what they said is, they cannot figure out how to it And how the manager Kate had tried with toast over and over and they were no help. So I had to strictly depend on what the manager put in toast, manually. I do I always had the app even then I found mistakes. I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I’ve never experienced a restaurant. You can’t print out your daily reports. How am I supposed to do my taxes? Everything should be transparent, so I have no idea what I sold tips. I made I have a new knowledge of anything. We also did not keep credit card slips meaning when a guest paid with the credit card and left the tip we were told to throw it out. We do not hand in the night again lack of transparency if there’s ever a discretion, we had no proof or if they were ever audited It’s going to be a problem. I finally made a complaint to the general manager with screenshots on things that I found wrong through the test app within a week we were able to print out reports soon after I was wrongly terminated, and I kept every report they saw me take pictures of it because they knew something was not right. Every Saturday afternoon we pull tips two of us. We had large parties on Saturday afternoons. We’re busy Greater alone on these parties were to $300 about why consistently through the app I see on Saturdays I made from $30-$50. There’s just two of us there was no help to tip out I was never showed a book. Nothing was ever showed to me on how everything was broken down I suspect highly suspect wage theft. There is still one thing on our daily reports. It did not make sense to me. The manager said she tried for Hrs but toast couldn’t get an answer that you guys were useless. I called to myself without the managers code, so I was access to very little information. You guys are very helpful. I didn’t answer within like five minutes and you explain to me on the different levels. If you can’t find an answer, there’s I forget exactly what department they were, but there was another department and another department It didn’t take me hours. It took me five minutes. Highly suspect retaliation I was calling things out they were wrong. There were days I wasn’t even making minimum wage which is against the law I can go on and on, but what I need is daily reports on each day that I worked for the back of the house, not from what Kate the manager, mainly put in. I hope that makes sense. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
However, you did send me from the day I started to the day. I left on what I made. I need it broken down from each day that I worked.
