ISP Outage

Hi All,

Curious what others have been doing when you have an ISP outage to keep business going beyond the tips that Toast has? Today we got a 4g backup installed from Comcast due to them having a bunch of issues recently from the ISP, but curious what others are thinking.

Just an LTE backup as well, our ISP has been very reliable though and I can't remember the last time it got any use, but for $20 a month it's there if/when it does happen.

This is a first for me. I have had no issues for YEARS and now it seems as though there is an issue comcast is having that they cannot figure out. I am glad to have the peace of mind of having the new backup. For some reason I have a recollection of toast having their own 4g backup

There was a beta test for toast routers with built in cellular backups a while back, not sure if they are in use yet.

I thought so! I hadn't had issues in years so didn't think to look too deeply into it when I saw it in the test kitchen. I almost bought a Go 3 the other day to be able to keep online ordering going during the outage.
