Just a Poll - how many of you are now paying Tips out on Paychecks?

Hello, Toast Community!  I'm writing just to see how many restaurants have moved to paying employee tips out on pay checks?

We do! Breakfast cafe and our fine dining restaurant.

We have moved all tips to checks. and are recommending for our clients as well.  It is also important to note, when employees are applying for government assistance or even a new apartment, showing tips on checks helps to demonstrate a higher level of income.

We do and have for a few years.  We are a self serve restaurant so we pay out the tips based on the percentage of employee hrs worked/all tipped employee hours.

If the tip pool is $500 and there total hours worked by tipped employees for the pay period is 1000, then each employee will receive $0.50/hr worked this pay period.

Toast Tips doesn't do this so we calculate it manually which we have been doing for years anyway.
