We have a restaurant group that has four locations under it. Three of the locations are using 7Shifts for the tip management, but I was wanting to use Toast Tips and the Toast Pay Cards at the new, fourth location.
One of the support representatives with Toast Payroll told me yesterday that if we wanted to use Toast Tips and the pay cards, we would also have to switch to that at each of the other locations because they're all under the same restaurant group. Is this actually true, or is this another example of a support rep making false statements?
In the Toast Tips demo I had a couple of weeks ago, I walked through what we were doing with 7Shifts at the other locations and exactly what I was wanting to get out of Toast Tips at this new location--and that the other locations were staying with the 7Shifts system--, and there was zero indication that it was not going to be possible. I'm supposed to have SOMETHING set up and ready to go in a couple of days, so I can someone please help me determine what is ACTUALLY true?

I would also like to know the answer to this. I completed what I thought were all the necessary steps to get my restaurant going with the Toast Tips Manager & Toast Pay Cards, had the owner complete the contract, to then be informed that a contract had to be completed for all locations that are funded by Toast Payroll. All of his restaurants are indeed funded by Toast Payroll, but not all of them are interested in the Toast Pay Cards, or their specific setup doesn't make sense to use the pay cards. I would like to know if the pay cards are an all or nothing situation when there are multiple restaurants involved?
