Frequently I had to do some sales analysis to predict what my current sales average was for a certain day, quickly find my weekly sales for this week etc. I sort of hate UI and going to each field to set date ranges etc. So 90's 🙂
So I actually ended up writing my own tool to do that analysis, turned that into a local server for my own use. It looked something like this.
Now, after a month, ToastIQ has nicely integrated similar functionality, which is handy. I don't need to run my server, although I should admit I love my baby though 😂. I would urge everyone to actually take a look at it and use it. It's pretty decent. I didn't integrate payroll query into my system, but ToastIQ has that also integrated and several other grouping of sales for analyis which is really cool and awesome!
