Last week a new Today's Shift Screen started showing up the first time you logged in on a new device that show a messages box and then a list of out of stock items. Looks to be a very useful tool. The thing is no one at support seems to know about it and no one can tell me how to add a message to that screen. I get transferred around and every new agent confidently tells me how to send text alerts from the handhelds and then gets all confused when I tell them about the today's shift screen. Has anyone figure out how to add a message here?

I can see the usefulness of this, but only for very specific use cases. The 86 items of course, but adding a message is only useful if you have the message entered before the staff you want seeing it clocks in. For example, I needed to broadcast a message mid shift in hopes that the staff would see it, but since they had already had the screen pop up for them, it did not reach them and I had to go around and tell everyone individually anyway. I was hoping if there was an update on the broadcast, that it would make the message pop up again by default

Really? I could have sworn when I put a new message in, it becomes a pop up the next time they punch into the system.

After I put the message in, I asked an employee to sign in and there was nothing. Granted, that was as far as my investigator skills went. I just assumed at that point that it would not pop up again. Maybe it was a fluke?
