Obtaining API for data warehouse integration

We are trying to connect to our sales and customer data to load into a data warehouse to enable data analytics without using Toast Integration providers. 

Is there a way to obtain an API token to allow us to load customer and sales data to our own warehouse?

This does help but I don’t see the option for Toast API access in my Integrations page. Do I need to subscribe to developer integration to obtain this option?

Unfortunately I do not have any knowledge on this topic and I think it's limited release to certain businesses only as it says in the article. However, you can try to speak with regional sales rep to see if you can gain access to this feature. Or email Toast Restaurant Success Team at experience@toasttab.com instead of Toast Customer Care.

I think you need to go through integrations, possibly start here https://pos.toasttab.com/partners/integration-partner-application even though it seems like you are not looking for partner api account, but a restaurant api account for just your restaurant group, but may at least get you in contact with the right people. That is correct you will need to fill out the application Toast API. That will allow you access to the API. You will also need an active subscription to Toast Partner Connect. Once you get access you will be able to do the following:

If you have any integrations like 3rd party delivery or ordering support from GH/DD/Uber, then likely you already have an API permission. You just need to create one additional step to. enable your query to connect.

I have built some python scripts for getting and managing basic querires and also built a chat like agent support for myself. It works well on macOS and Linux. I'm on to prototyping something that can maybe work well as an app.

The restaurant POS side seems well managed, and the POSTMAN allows you to check these out quite easily. You can get the GUID's and KEY's from the help chat interface, it seems to have become much better now.  If you need help, please reach out with your specific requirements and I can see if I can help with a custom solution.
