pos login issue

Has anyone experienced this issue before?

When we power off our POS or KDS screens and log back into our restaurant account, Toast will refuse our password anywhere from 5 to 10 times before it accepts it & logs back in.

Some of our clients have experienced after a power outage or version upgrades. 

Check Toast terminals are properly connected to the network.
If you are using an older version of the Toast software, try updating to the latest version.

 

Check logging in from a different device.
Try restarting your terminal. "just kick it"
Try resetting your Toast password from the Toast back office, should do this from time to time regardless.
