We switched to Toast Payroll over a year ago from ADP. We had always had the ability to set a category for employees to distinguish their position as Front of House vs. Back of House. Toast Payroll does not offer this. Our accountant is struggling to reconcile payroll reports because of this since our accounting has always separated the two.
Curious if we are the only ones that want this feature?

To add, this is a valuable request. Please don't let the "kudos" drive Toast's decision to do this.
First: add a "parent" category to each employees data, so their specific job reports into "Front of House" or "Back of House" ( maybe add a 3rd "Management".
Second, add to Report, Labor Cost Breakdown, add "By FOH/BOH" to the Breakdown button. This currently only has Job Title and Day which don't really help.
