How can we effectively collect email addresses or phone numbers from dine-in customers using our Toast Go handhelds or POC? Here are a few potential approaches we see:
- Offer the option for customers to pay via text message, provided they’re comfortable with it.
- Request customers to share their phone number for a digital receipt to be sent via text.
- Invite customers to join a loyalty program during the payment process.
Our goal is to minimize staff training requirements and ensure a smooth and fast checkout experience while maintaining the servers' ability to receive tips without disruption. What has worked for you guys best?
