Giftcard Sales

We have annual giftcard sales . Buy $100 and get $25 comp card with a certain time frame to use.  

We get a huge portion of these sales from online giftcard sales.  Toast does not have this capability.  We currently use Instagift for our online giftcard sales - would love to have it through Toast.

@davidcantrell I just posted essentially the same message trying to automate this process. Currently, we have been tracking all gift certificates via an excel sheet and issuing an e-card, then discounting that under "holiday bonus". We track the initial purchase date, check number, and values, then in the same sheet document the date of business when the holiday bonus was sent via e-card, that separate check number and values. It is a tedious process but allows it to be tracked and referenced later. 

Is instagift a platform that you use for your gift certificates as opposed to Toast?

That seems excessive.  Hopefully Toast will figure it out.  

Instagift is what we use for our online giftcard sales because the process is automated - they will automatically receive the $25 promo eGiftcard when we have the giftcard sales.
