Hello Toast Team,
We’ve identified a significant gap in the Order & Pay system. At this time, Happy Hour discounts do not automatically apply when guests order through Order & Pay. Instead, they must be added manually, which creates friction for guests, undermines trust in pricing, and slows down staff operations.
This feels like an overlooked but essential feature. Timed promotions such as Happy Hour are a standard part of restaurant operations, and Order & Pay should honor those rules without manual intervention. Without this functionality, Order & Pay is incomplete as a mobile ordering solution.
We urge your team to prioritize fixing this immediately. The expectation is that scheduled discounts flow seamlessly across all ordering channels, including Mobile Payments.
Please escalate this to your product/engineering team. It directly impacts guest experience and operational efficiency, forcing us into temporary workarounds. Order & Pay Payments Not Carrying Over Happy Hour Discounts
