Pay with Multiple Gifts Cards Online

Hi All, 

Does anyone know if there is a way for guests to pay with multiple gift cards online (Toast Local, Online Ordering, OPT) ? We have a lot of teachers with stacks of gift cards, however for online ordering it appears only one can be used. 

1) We haven't found a way for the guest to merge gift cards on their end, for our staff to merge we have to manually enter each card number - this needs to be fixed by Toast but I can not find another way.

2) We have tried added gift cards to the Toast Local app, however it will still only allow payment with one card.

3) I have looked for a setting on the payment admin section that would allow for this though have yet to be able to find it.

Guests cannot merge multiple gift cards on their end for online orders. As you have stated, the only way is for the restaurant staff to merge them manually.
The Toast Local app and online ordering currently allow payment with only one gift card at a time. There is no setting in the payment admin section to change this. Sorry, I couldn't provide ways to get your desired workflow, but hopefully, some members within the community have found workarounds!

Thank you for the confirmation, I was afraid as much. 

Can we get a feature request for both?

1) Allow user to swipe (or scan) gift card on the merge screen, instead of manually entry?

2) Allow customer to pay with multiple gift cards?

I feel as though the first request should already be the case, as it is with other gift card and loyalty screens. While the second may pose some programming obstacles on your end, it too seems like something that should easily be allowed.
