Recent issue with Android App

Toast Community,

We are getting reports of people not being able to log in or sign up using the Android App recently. Wondering if anyone else has reported the same issue? Some folks are reporting that the keyboard is not pulling up for them to enter info they need to sign in or sign up. The fields in the screenshot below are unresponsive.

Just received an email from Toast indicating that this is a known issue and will be fixed in the next app update:

I am reaching out regarding the Android app login issue reported on case 17554502. This was a known issue that was being investigated by the engineering team earlier this month. A fix should have been implemented and would be included in the next update for the Android version of your branded app. As you stated in your previous message, there was a new app version rolled out on March 17, but this build may have missed when the fix went live. App updates are automatically pushed out on a rolling basis every two weeks, but I went ahead and submitted a new update to expedite the process. Once the new update is live, users will need to make sure that they are using the latest version of the Android app to see if they are able to log in. I will keep you posted as to when the new app version is available.

Toast has validated the fix after the recent update and we have not heard of any other complaints from guests.

Hi!

I have not heard of this issue as of recent, I'll definitely have to check with managers in case customers have mentioned it.

Hi!

We just received our first report of this issue from a customer. Have you been able to find a solution? The problem specifically mentioned is that they can't log into their account.

I tried testing both apps, keyboard opens fine for me, unless it was fixed and I have the fixed version. Did you ask the customers if they have updated app?

I have been waiting for a callback from Toast Support, but have not seen any additional reports of the issue since I posted previously. I did see that there was an update to the Google App so I am hopeful that this fixed the issue, so perhaps that did the trick. Has been lower on my priority list since I haven't received additional guest complaints about it.
