Reliability of card readers in toast Togo

Hi

its little over two years and I’ve had my first one die just little over a year. But somehow they were able to replace my device. The second unit has failed to read cards after 2 years. I ordered a replacement kit for the card reader after diagnostics. Just curious what others have seen. The unit itself looks great shape but it’s refusing to read cards to take payments

Ours are about 3 years + and  have been going strong so far (knock on wood).

Nice.. the unit looks pretty solid, can't tell why the readers are failing.  Got a replacement reader for $150, waiting for it to arrive. I hope I don't need to swap the base unit as well. 

Is there any extended warranty program that goes beyond the 1yr? I didn't think so.
