Combo-ing Combinations Order with Auto Applying discount? (within edit discount page)

Hello,

Was looking to see if anyone has any experience with combo-ing . I am specifically looking at what order the system sifts through in order to decide the correct combo (from within a specific discount vs discount lists)? Top to bottom or bottom to top? We are auto applying the discount...

For ex : Item A can be combined with Item B and C for $10. Item A can also be combined with either B or C for $10. Item A is $10 on its own but item B and C are $2 alone.

A+B= $10 or A+C=$10 or A+B+C=$10     Which combo goes first/last for all three scenarios to work with Auto applying the discount? We are currently getting inconsistent combinations.

Any help would be appreciated.

I did a test run and the correct order should be 

A+B+C or A+B or A+C

For some reason we are still not getting the A+B+C result when all 3 items are put in (instead only A+B or A+C when all three are present)...

It should work. How did you set up your discount?
