The question: how do I VIEW ALL items NOT in any active menu.
So, it seems I finally understand "Add Existing", "Copy Existing", "Deep Copy". Finally comprehend this.
So, now I am looking at "item database". YIKES!!!
Let's look at item: Avocado - a very low priority item just for fun
with just "Avocado", just how much trouble this is.
So, currently, of a list of problems, I need to do this:
View item database : all items NOT joined / NOT active on any menu.
Choose any Avocado:
Okay, this Avocado is attached to "ADD" and I think "Salad Option"
There is not currently a column to just show this.
And the only way to currently see where all of this goes at one view is to "tick" "select all" and "archive" an view the alert "you are about to archive all of this":
ADD Avocado : ADD (Salad Options) - seems to be on 4 menus. YIKES! And it goes on.
The question: how do I VIEW ALL items NOT in any active menu. And then DELETE.

It doesn't look like you have permission, but if you can get access to it or an account that does, (permission 4.22) the menu cleanup tool would be the easiest. This will included anything not currently on a menu, then you can bulk archive items.

Hi, thanks. Where is this tool located?

Under internal tools, it's all the way to the bottom in the left menu, can also search for menu cleanup, it looked like maybe it wasn't there for you in the screenshots but it might be out of view.

Yes, I have no access to this. I'll have to login at work, or rather use the GM's login. I'll come back to see if this solves my problem. I hope so!
