Delivery partner integration

When I set up my delivery partners integration, everything seemed good. I chose to add 1.50 to each item. That carried over. However, I gave a few items that the price is based on size. Those prices stayed the same. I need to know how to get the 1.50 added to those prices. Also, pictures of items did not transfer. How to do that.

Use the Advanced Properties page to expand the item and see its modifiers. Expand the Size modifier group, then the size modifier, to reveal each size modifier's reference item. That size reference item is the one that needs to have its pricing strategy changed to menu-based.

Thanks. I’m new at this. I think I understand but I don’t see it when I look.
I have under my menu a list of items under GROUPS. This GROUP is called Pretzel Bites. It is set too NO for menu group provides pricing. Then the ITEMS section under Pretzel Bites lists 3 kinds. Butter and salted. Cinnamon sugar. And Garlic Parm. Under each item when you click you see PRICING set to Specify pricing on this item then Size Price is checked. Under that lists the sizes and prices.
man I missing something?

I'll go into some more detail! Here's how you can achieve this:

  • The main item should be set up with size-based pricing strategy. For each size you set up, enter the base price for that size. Then save these changes to the main item.
  • What this will do is create two (or more) "size modifiers" in Toast which work a little differently than your standard modifiers, in that they are not directly editable on the main item itself. They can only be accessed from the Advanced Properties page (see attachment).
  • The goal is to have the Main Item use size-based pricing, but then each size within that main item will use menu-based pricing. To do this:
    1. From the Advanced Properties page, use the arrows on the left to expand the Menu, then Menu Group, then Item you want to change.
    2. Find and expand the newly created Size Modifier Group for the item whose pricing you are trying to edit.
    3. When you expand the size modifier group (which was automatically created when you set the item to have a size-based pricing strategy), you will see that a new modifier exists for each *Size* of the item.
    4. Finally, expand each of those modifiers to reveal that modifier's Reference Item. These modifier reference items will each have their own dedicated item page, just like a main item, where you can give them their own pricing strategy, visibility, etc!
    5. Set each Size Modifier Reference Item to use menu-based pricing strategy. I find it best to open each Size Modifier Reference Item in a new tab so I don't lose my place on the advanced properties page.

I hope this helps!

Here's another attachment to help you find the Size Modifier Reference Item within the Advanced Properties page. Again, this will only exist once you've given the main item a size-based pricing strategy, and it is only accessible from the Advanced Properties page.
