I have spent hours on the phone with no resolve. Cases have been started and resolved without my knowledge or an answer.
I you create a happy hour discount for a menu item group. Say Domestic beers. Two of the same beer only get 1 discount. One tab with 2 bud lights that should get a $1 each discount. It only discounts 1 bud light. Nobody knows why. Discounting happy hour on a POS should be an easy question.

Thanks, in that case you need to set it up something like this, need to set apply to entire check, then specify that it must include those menu groups, and also select bulk discount and set a minimum and max, leave max blank if no limit.

This is how it would look on a check

Thanks 12 hours of time and several cases no one knew how to do this. I don't know if it was apply to entire check or bulk discount that fixed it but it was never discussed before and I have asked for a pointer to find this in the knowledge base and cannot find it. I have seen many mistakes in other bars and restaurants on my tabs with Toast POS and it is because they don't know how to program happy hours discounts.

No problem, it's a.combination of both, bulk is what you needed but it only works with entire check discounts or combo discounts.

I am curious? I have been trying to get answers on how to use Toast properly. How is it I can get an answer on a subject of using Toast from someone that is not getting paid but not from Toast. 😂 Thank You
