Drink Recipes for Bartender

Is there a way for bartenders to see the recipe for a drink when they tap on the menu item? I was going to use the description text but wasn't sure if customers would see the ingredients and steps to make it, which I would want to avoid, when they scan and order from a QR code.

On Toast today, there isn’t a way for bartenders to tap a menu item and see an internal recipe without that info also being visible to guests on online ordering. The Description field is shared across channels, so anything placed there can surface to customers.
Most operators instead keep recipes in Training Mode, a Kitchen Display System (KDS) expo recipe view, or a printed/QR cocktail book for staff.
If you’d like your team to see recipes directly in the POS without exposing them to guests, that’s a feature request many folks have asked for, and I'll pass your feedback along as well!
