Does anyone have a step by step process that can be shared to help with completing the Form 8027 "Employer's Annual Information Return of Tip Income and Allocated Tips"? Toast has a very basic help article https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/How-To-Fill-Out-the-IRS-Form-8027 that only give you partial information on where to get the numbers for the 8027, and some of the information isn't very accurate or detailed enough. I'm surprised there isn't a report we can run for this, since it's required for a majority of their full-service restaurant clients. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, does anyone know of a good way to split pooled tips within toast between multiple bartenders or carryout staff? We currently have to use a spreadsheet to track. After exhaustive testing and support, Toast Tips Manager isn't capable of doing what we need.
