Every year around the holidays we run a gift card special buy $50 get $10 free. The problem is that some guests will purchase $1,000 in $50 gift cards. The current process requires us to ring in twenty seperate gift cards one at a time. Can we enter a quantity and be able to press 20x gift cards at $50 each and then just keep swiping cards until the number is met instead of having to do them all individually?

I received some exciting feedback about this feature request, and it looks like it’s set to roll out in Q2 of 2026! I truly appreciate everyone's insights and suggestions. Thank you all for your support!

Would love that feature!

Thanks for reaching out to the community. At the moment, physical gift cards have to be loaded one at a time on Toast POS (there isn’t a quantity/batch option yet). One option is to run your “Buy $50, get $10” as an eGift promotion in Marketing → Offers so you’re not swiping dozens of physical cards. However, we have a plan to address this later next year, so stay tuned!

I also vote for that feature! It's a common occurrence for our coffee shop: someone buys ten $5 gift cards to hand out to their employees.

I also vote for that feature! We do the same promo during December and doing it one at a time is grueling. I hope it is a feature request that is being considered!
