Hello,
So i'm having issues with my customers names not getting saved in the guestbook. When a customer calls in for a take out order, i ask them for their phone number and name. Once I have entered their info, I then select the items they choose. This is common practice across the board for all restaurants I would assume. Now the issue is that when I have taken their order, I input their name and phone number. But when I go in my back office to find them in the guestbook, only their phone number gets saved. No names ever gets saved. Why is this? Shouldn't the system save their name as well? If they call the next time for an order and I input their phone number, their name will pop up on the pos to the corresponding phone number. But in the back office it does not save their name. Is there a bug/glitch that I am not aware of? This is extremely frustrating because I can't find them easily in the back office due to no name being attached to the phone number. I have hundreds of customers in the guestbook with only their phone number but no names attached to those numbers. Please help.

There is a delay before appearing, other than that I believe you would need to use digital receipts for them to appear in the guestbook. There is an FAQ here that covers which guest are added https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Access-Your-Guest-Data-with-the-Guest-Report
