Is anyone else struggling with settings for guest receipt printing?? For the last seven years, our guest check setup includes printing modifiers that have a price, pizza toppings for example. All other basic mods or special requests never printed on their receipts. Now, apparently after an update, we can only choose to print all mods or none? So, for example if they order a pizza and add four toppings, their bill shows just a pizza and a price. If we set it to print modifiers, the customer receipts show ALLERGY, DON'T MAKE, SEE SERVER, or other basic modifiers and all special requests, like IN A HURRY. There has got to be something I'm missing. I have been emailing, chatting, sending photos over the last week with support and today had a phone call. Has anyone found a work around? The answer from Toast so far has been, print them all or print none. Why do updates change things that work?

I think I've hit on a work around. I created a new dining option labeled ORDER IN/TAKE AWAY, and set the behavior to none. On the main device at the hostess stand where most of take out is ordered, I set the default dining option to the new ORDER IN/, and so far success! The kitchen tickets look exactly the same with a new dining option. And on the receipt, no free mods or special requests show. We'll see if any problems crop up this way, but seems to work.

Right, understood, thanks. I think the problem was all me, I was changing things and had forgotten what I had checked and unchecked.
