Importing Data

Hey all... 

So we just launched Toast last week and so far it's pretty great.  

Here's the thing.  We opened our restaurant in August of 2022 and used an inherited POS until last week.  While the old POS was abhorrent, it did keep basic reports about our sales, inventory, labor, etc... How do we import .cvs files of all that data into Toast so that we can use Toast to its fullest analytical capacity with all our old data?  There has to be a way, right?  This seems like it would be really important to be able to do.  

Guidance will be appreciated.

Hey @RomerosKentucky, that's a great question! Toast has the ability for you to import loyalty and gift card information, but unfortunately, you are unable to import other data directly into Toast; in order to use that data in conjunction with Toasts. You would need to keep it filed in your personal system and export Toasts information to your spreadsheet or perhaps use a third-party system to combine the data. 
I am not sure of a third party that would allow this but perhaps other restaurateurs have some suggestions!
