Order and Pay Credit Cards

We have Order and Pay setup with credit card pre-authorizations.

We have been using this for a couple weeks and for some reason, we have a number of guests where their tabs do not close automatically.  They are still sitting in our Open Orders from this past weekend.  Credit Card statements show that they are pending for .01.  90% close automatically on their own.

Is there a way to automatically close the tabs on the Toast End?  They are supposed to close automatically correct?

We ran into similar issues.  We turned off “Tabs”, “Group Ordering” and “Preauth”.  We have had no issues since.

So you don't have the pre-auth on? What is the process now? Appreciate the help!

Pre Auth is off.  We don’t allow tabs anymore.  Guests process their online order and it’s paid for right at that moment.  If they want to order something else, they just scan the QR code again and it asks them if they want to order more.  Haven’t seen an issue since.  Test it on a slower time.  Hope it helps.
