Remove this fee!

We all need to join together and get the word to the owner and or stock holders about this online order fee! We already pay for this service and now by passing on a 99 cent fee to our customers without our consent is causing huge problems. Customers are ANGRY and taking it out on us.

We never received any notification about this fee.  Suddenly, it showed up at our restaurant yesterday at 4pm.  

As of now, we have received twelve calls from angry customers.   Many of them told our manager that they would not order from us again. 

Since we received more and more angry calls, and there is no way for us to remove it, we are now temporarily giving $1 cash back to all the customers that come and pick up the orders themself.  We will update our website and post a sign regarding this fee tomorrow.

Great job, Toast.  It’s time to look for a new POS system. 

We created a promo code NO TOAST 99 that credits this fee back to the customer.  Toast still gets it but at least the customer isn't charged more and the meals tax increase is offset by the discount.  Also gives us some space to explain to our customers our protest.  We will be moving to a different online ordering platform next week.
