We have launched Order and Pay as our standard order method at one our of concepts - however we are finding that a few guests are ordering, eating/drinks, and then leaving while leaving their tab open. We move to close out the pre auth and their payment is declined.
Any advice how to prevent this? We ordered another handheld to try to have some of our runners be aware of tables that are getting ready to leave, however this isn't going to be fool proof. Also read that increasing the pre auth $$ doesn't effect Order and Pay (I also don't want to have to pre auth an absurd amount just to secure payment)
