Taking Phone Orders Remotely

Anyone have ideas for how to have a remote staffer take phone orders and send the order to our POS in the restaurant? I'm imagining an experience where the customer calls the restaurant, and when they say they'd like to order by phone, we forward the call to a remote worker who has the ability (without using special Toast Hardware) to input the order and send to the restaurant POS. We can collect payment when the customer picks up.

As long as you are not trying to take payments you could do it, either with a virtual terminal or android device running the toast pos app, if you don't use any printed tickets and just KDS or orders hub to manage orders then you could just send them like you normally would in the restaurant. If you do have kitchen printers or FOH printers where the orders need to be printed too you can still do it, but will need to use the schedule order feature. As long as you already have an autofire device assigned for online/mobile orders etc, it will send scheduled orders to the autofire device as if it was an online order, and that device (inside the restaurant) will actually fire the ticket, so printed tickets will still work. I discovered this accidentally one day when testing scheduled order settings at home, then coming into the restaurant the next morning and seeing printed tickets from my test orders,
