Test view menu while building

Hello,  I am new to Toast and am currently building a menu for our new restaurant.  I think I have figured out modifiers and pre modifiers but would like to look at how it will appear on the terminal, which we don't have yet.  Is there a way to see the layout from my PC or do I have to keep building the menu and hope it all works out once the equipment is installed?

Just spitballing, but does the “employee” associated with those login credentials have a job assigned to them which has POS access and the Terminal Setup permission enabled?

You can manage employees and job permissions in Toast Web side navigation > Employees

Thank you for the reply. The log-in credentials are for myself. I have all the user roles assigned to my log-in on the Toast Restaurant Admin website. I do not have a log-in for the actual POS terminal at the restaurant. This leads me to believe that I do not have a job assigned to me which has POS access and the Terminal Setup permission enabled. I'm assuming I can set that up through the Restaurant Admin website.

I checked and I was already assigned the Owner job, which has all permissions enabled including POS access and Terminal Setup.

Is this the first time with BlueStacks? It's usually an Internet connection issue or incorrect account, if you are able to login to toast web I'd suspect connection issue.

Hi rcmck,

It is the first time with BlueStacks. I am using the same log-in credentials that I log into the Toast Restaurant Admin site with. My internet connection is working fine too. 

I'm confused because the Toast app, on the BlueStacks App Player, prompts me to enter an email and password to log-in. I am entering the same email and password that I use to log into the Toast Restaurant Admin website.  I assume that I do not use my POS Access Code as part of the BlueStack Toast app log-in process?
