Is/has anyone else gotten/getting this message in Toast Payroll? I'm trying to run my first payroll ever & I'm getting an error that says "Before processing payroll(s) in a new calendar year, the previous calendar year must be closed. This happens automatically on or before January 1st (depending on when the last payroll in the current year processes). This payroll cannot currently be processed, as the previous calendar year has not yet been closed. It should automatically close in the coming days. If you need to process urgently, please contact support."
Have contacted support for the past 2 days with no help. My onboarding specialist tried to reach someone yesterday, but couldn't. I have employees expecting to be paid tomorrow & I don't know what to tell them. Extremely frustrating, because I didn't have any payrolls last year. We purposely waited (since October) to start the new year to avoid having 2 payroll processors in the same year. Not a good start 😞

Hey, could you send a Dm with your restaurant information? Well, need to look at your payroll calendar and help unblock you so you can run your 2023 payroll!

Huge shoutout to my Onboarding Consultant, Shannon Pounds, who on his holiday sifted through previous cases to get me up & running. I was able to print checks on the 2nd for the 3rd. Thank you so much Shannon for your outstanding customer service. My staff is so grateful!!
