Can anyone who has used this setting to either void or close out open orders to a system payment type give any feedback on it? I'm curious if it also closes *scheduled* future orders, which would be a huge issue. Also, if you do turn the setting on, does it go to a special payment type or an existing one of your choice? How does it look in reporting?

I didn't know this existed either. Here's an article from Toast Central, but it doesn't address scheduled future orders.

Yeah I had seen that article. It does say it only affects orders for that day, but unfortunately the follow-up only mentions that *past* days aren't affected. No mention of future orders has me shaky!

Hi - I'm not completely sure about this but - I have it set to "Auto Close" the default method and I had once scheduled an order, it was paid and in the system to fire the morning of, 2 nights later it fired automatically. Not sure if that helps or means anything. Maybe I can't schedule orders to fire 2+ days away
