Automatic Kitchen Service Fee- All Receipts

Does anyone know how to get a 3% service fee to apply to all checks whether they are tabs or seated tables? 

Right now we have the fee attached to service areas but then if a bartender opens a tab the service fee will not apply to that check and we need for it to apply to all checks automatically.

@Alexasusan Hey! You can set up your POS or handheld to have a default dining option of one the three choices service fees allows. If you go to device set up > scroll to device default dining option > select "dine in". Run a sample check and see if this works, I don't use service fees in my establishment so I am interested to hear if it works. Also make sure that the service fee setting is proper, whether "dine in" is set to yes or no.

Hi! So here is what I figured out. The way you suggest only allowed to service fee to work on the service areas it was attached to. You leave all check boxes blank (elvitry, take and dine in) but under the settings category "Apply After Amount Threshold" add $0.01 then the fee will apply automatically to all table checks and quick service tabs.
