We have two bars at our restaurant and we are trying to figure out how to make "tabs" unique to each bar - so it's easier for the bartenders in their bar to keep track of their open tabs without scrolling through tabs from the other bar. If "Bar A" has two bartenders, we want both bartenders to see the "Bar A" tabs, but we don't wan them to see "Bar B" tabs. Hopes this makes sense.

Do the bartenders use their own numbers or a shared fake employee like 'pm bar'. I assume there is a reason they have the permission to see and edit each others tabs?

You might be able to use device groups as well depending on weather or not employees need to see others checks (if multiple bartenders are using their log in instead of sharing) https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Device-Groups if you create a group for bar a and bar b orders created on devices in group a will not sync to group b.

you can filter orders by showing checks for current user. With that, system will only show checks rung in by current log-in user. If you have more than one bartenders at the same time, you will need to decide whose code they will be using or you can create a shared code.
