When Catering orders are placed on the POS, they appear on the calendar in the Catering and Events module, but they do not show as orders, invoices, etc so we cannot keep notes there nor can we invoice customers. Has anyone figured out a way to invoice for catering orders that are placed on the POS. (I currently subscribe to Catering and Events Pro but with limited functionality may be downgrading to the regular C&E) Thank you in advance.

It seems the "Send/email invoice" option is only available on the Toast Web. https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Manage-Catering-and-Events-on-Toast-POS#creating_orders_on_po...
I'm pretty sure you can request payment by using "Text-to-pay" for orders including catering. customers will receive a text message with a link to digital receipt of the order and a payment link.
We don't use Catering & Event Pro so I'm not exactly sure about adding notes to orders. Perhaps you can add notes as "special requests".

text to pay isn't an option we have and it looks like there is a waitlist to add it
