Charge fees

Hi my name is leidy I want to know why are you charged.99 extras all transactions

You are not being charged, the customer is. They are testing a new reduced credit card processing rate for card not present (online ordering) with a small fee charged to the customer instead. You would have received emails and other notifications to opt out before this, you must have missed or ignored them. You'll have to contact support to opt out now.

I would recomend you do the math on this.  I did & opt'ed out.  For me, the savings on processing fees would have been about $3,000 per year but Toast would earn an extra $22,000 per year from these fees.  To the customer it looks like the restaurant is charging the fees so that's who gets the complaints and has to deal with aggravated customers.  If  I wanted to charge a service charge it makes much more sense for me to charge & keep it.  It would work out to an extra $18,000.
