Enter Appetizer after entree

Guests start to order entrees and they are put n hand held at table. then before sending they want to add appetizers.

how can you do this and just send apps, or do you have to delete entrees?

Do you use courses? That would be first step, if you do not you need to enable that, then you can decide if you want the ability to fire them separately or all on one slip at the same time. You will need to assign default courses for menu items, (you can manually change whenever you need to when ordering)

We definitely want to control the flow. 
can someone order an entree and appetizer together. Like an wnteee could be an appetizer.

Yes, you would select the item that is normally an entree for example, you will see a button that says change course, then you can change it to appetizer.
