Experience creation

how do I set up an experience and not offer the default reservations? It looks like I am currently allowing reservations for both- so I'll end up overbooked. It seemed to double the availability. Thanks!

Okay, let me know if this works! I emboldened the part I think you might be missing. 
 
To set up a one-night special event in Toast Tables, create a Special Schedule by navigating to your "Schedules" and defining the single date for your event, then adjusting the hours for that day. You can also use this to control online reservation availability for the event, add special deposits if needed, and modify your menu to only show the special offerings on that date.  
 
Step 1: Create a special schedule
  1. Log in to your Toast account and go to Schedules.
  2. Select the single date of your special event from the calendar.
  3. Click + Add Date.
  4. Choose Save to create the special schedule. 
 
 
Step 2: Adjust reservation availability
  1. While viewing your special date in the schedule, you can manually adjust the hours for that day. 
     
  2. Go to the Online access menu and adjust the table availability for that specific date to control how many reservations can be booked online. 
     
  3. You can also set minimum and maximum party sizes for the event. 
     
Step 3: Configure deposits and menus (Optional)
  1. To add unique deposit rules for this date, go to Reservation Deposits within your special schedule and set up your deposit rules. 
     
  2. To ensure customers only see and order from your special menu, go to Special Menus under your online ordering settings. 
     
  3. Select + Add special menu and choose your event date. 
     
  4. Select the specific menu(s) that should be available for that day and choose whether to allow takeout or delivery. 
     
  5. Copy the provided URL to direct customers to the correct ordering page for the event.
