KDS in Fine Dining

Wondering if anyone has used KDS in a fine dining restaurant, specifically the Assembly Line feature? We have different stations cooking different items on the same tickets and rather than having a missed call from chef or line cook not hearing the call to fire a ticket at a specific station, I am wondering if KDS can help solve this while ensuring our systems remain in tact. Basically, I want the chef to be able to check items off at expo and fire courses/tickets to different screens from the expo KDS. does anyone have experience with the KDS in this capacity and has it been successful? Thank you!
