Pizza Shop Printer Label Box

Hey Toast Team,

I’d love to see an alternative printer option for pizza boxes that uses s While the current label system works for some, it can be inconsistent—labels don’t always stick well to hot boxes, and they can be costly over time.

Option: Rectangle   Width 4.25 Length 1.75  ( Show the order number and pizza, customer name etc. Called a blaster

Improve efficiency in high-volume kitchens
Reduce costs compared to label rolls
Ensure better readability and durability for staff and customers

This would be a game-changer for pizzerias using Toast. Is this something that could be added as a supported printer option?

Looking forward to hearing feedback from the community!

I have a example of a sticker we can use let me know where i can email it to.

Hey, this is a great suggestion. I want to rely this feedback but want to make sure I understand the request. Is this a feature request to allow different kinds of printer paper to work with our current printer or for the functionality to be able to use a different kind of printer?

A different type of printer.  See the photo below.  This is great for pizzeria and would help make it easy and maybe also go after more of the pizzeria as well. IMG_5185.jpegIMG_5184.jpeg

The microworks blaster printer, works really well. We are using the tlp400 label printer and having big issues. We have 3 pizza stores, the tlp400, auto cuts our labels, so you cant really let them hang, when you turn the cutter off, you cant cut them manually without tearing the last label and wrecking alignment. How are you getting round this? have you any suggestions? are you using the l90 label printer, does it cause same issues? im been working with toast for 9 months through feature requests etc but cant get this label printer to work like the blaster!

Yes please, I have been waiting for this tech for 6 years
