I was told multiple times that with Toast Payroll essentials that someone at Toast sets up the PTO options when requested. I was told this multiple times, including by the folks that did the hands on training.
Now support is telling me I have to pay for the upgraded module anyway.
Every other payroll system that I used in the past included this capability by default, so this is a serious problem. But it's not okay to provide misinformation, otherwise I would not have switched to Toast payroll at all.
I've requested someone accountable to come forward on this at Toast, but after days, no one competent or accountable has come forward.
Please get my PTO option set up, or you can upgrade me for free so I can do it myself in the 5 minutes it takes to do it, rather than waiting for days/months of non-responsiveness by Toast.

I am running my second ever payroll with toast as I type this. Toast will tell you anything to get you to sign up! I would rather pay the 50$ a month to my old payroll provider who was honest than pay for any further toast modules. The payroll doesn't work well anyway with toast! They told me I would be able to setup multiple tip pools and that's not true......Unless you pay for ANOTHER upgraded module. So I have to manually do most of payroll either way. Toast has Been a big disappointment.
